Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Applymon ("Applymon", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Applymon desktop application and the applymon.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.

1. What we collect

• Account information. Your email address and sign-in details, managed through our authentication provider.
• Profile and resume data. The resume, work history, contact details, and application answers you provide so the Service can apply on your behalf.
• Application activity. The postings you send the Service after, application statuses, generated materials such as tailored resumes, and per-site notes the Service keeps to work better.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment processor. We receive subscription status and billing metadata; we do not store your card number.
• Verification messages. If you connect an email account for sign-up verification codes, the Service reads only what is needed to complete the applications you initiated. We do not permanently store or analyze your full mailbox.
• Technical data. App version, device platform, logs, and basic usage needed to run and improve the Service.

2. What stays on your device

The Service runs a real browser on your computer. Job-site sessions, and the job-site logins the Service creates for you, are stored locally on your device rather than on our servers.

3. How we use information

• To provide the Service: finding and ranking postings, tailoring materials, filling and submitting applications at your direction.
• To operate accounts, billing, and support.
• To secure, debug, and improve the Service.
• To send service communications. We do not send third-party marketing.

4. AI processing

The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models to tailor resumes, write application answers, and operate application forms. Content needed for those features, such as your resume data, job postings, and your answers, is processed by AI model providers through services based in the United States, under data-processing agreements that limit use of your data to providing the service. We do not use your data to train our own models and do not permit providers to use it for advertising.

5. When we share information

• Employers and job sites you apply to. When you direct the Service to apply, your application materials go to that employer or site, exactly as an application you submitted yourself would.
• Service providers. Hosting and content delivery, authentication, payment processing, and AI model providers, each bound to use data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal. When required by law or to protect the Service and its users.
• Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertising networks.

6. Retention

We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, billing, or security purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; keep your account credentials private.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights: residents of the EU, EEA, and UK have rights under the GDPR, and California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information). We do not discriminate for exercising these rights.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. International transfers

The Service is operated from the United States, and information is processed there. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
